The Systems of Doctrine
In this text we will list sixteen topics of Doctrines
First, the Doctrine of Scriptures. The inerrant truth about God is found in Scripture. When we look at nature, there is revealing of God’s existence, power, design and wisdom. Nature does not reveal His love for man to save him from a lost state. There is no way in nature to find or explain God’s forgivingness and salvation. There are no incentives to live a holy life and no revelation of the future for man in nature. We can find no escape from sin, its consequences and penalty. We must go to the other Book of the God, the Bible; there we find God’s revelation concerning these matters. The scriptures alone are the reliability, accuracy, inspiration, truth and revelation to this search. We hold ourselves to the accountability to the study of the Holy Scriptures for the truth of God revealed.
The second topic for considerations is the Doctrine of God. This study seeks to make clear-cut what the scriptures teach about the greatest of all facts and that is the fact of God, His nature, existence, attributes, immutability, etc. Here in study we come to know in depth the Creator and His’ plans for mankind.
The Doctrine of Angels is a study of angels, who are considered the highest of God’s created creatures. It is here we consider the topics on fallen and wicked angels, Satan and demons.
The Doctrine of Man. As one-study scriptures in details, there is a focus upon God and Man. There is to be learned the biblical view of man; as God sees and understand him.
The Doctrine of Sin. The most sordid and regretful fact connected with man is the fall of sin; it’s consequences and penalty. The scriptures give with clarity the origin, nature, consequences, remedy, healing and cure of sin.
